Fungi support, carry, convert life, simply correct everything on Earth, while shunning from attention or recognition. They are the oldest, the youngest, largest and smallest organisms on the planet which number of species is 6 times bigger than plants. Mycelium is a root-like structure of fungi that has more networks than a human brain has neuropathways. The documentary “Fantastic Fungi - magic beneath us” by Louie Schwartzberg taught me this any many other mesmerising facts about the exceptional fungi kingdom. Its images and testimonies became the main part of my inspiration for my next collection.
Fungi are our secret guardians and without them live on Earth would be basically impossible. I felt guilty for disregarding them for so many years, so the only right step to follow was honouring the fantastic fungi through my project.

I have created a printed magazine exploring the mesmerising nature of fungi and presenting my collection inspired by them. Then, I have created one of the looks composed of
the short-sleeved jumpsuit made of deadstock Ecovero viscose covered by the A-line jacket made of Piñatex and silk lining hand-dyed with avocado skin.
